SINOROCK Technology at the 2nd Infrastructure Intelligent Nondestructive Testing Seminar

From August 5 to 6, the highly anticipated 2nd Infrastructure Intelligent Nondestructive Testing Seminar was successfully held in Guangzhou. Organized jointly by the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Guangzhou University, and Jianghan University, the seminar attracted numerous renowned experts, scholars, and industry elites from both domestic and international arenas to discuss the development and application of intelligent testing, preventive maintenance, and intelligent operation and maintenance technologies in the infrastructure field. SINOROCK, as a guest unit, was invited to attend and present a keynote report.



 

Theme and Highlights

The seminar, themed "Intelligent Future · Nondestructive Empowerment · Building Safety Together," aimed to promote innovation and development in intelligent nondestructive testing technologies through in-depth academic exchanges and discussions. The conference, spanning one and a half days, featured 25 high-quality keynote reports covering various fields, including bridges, tunnels, highways, rail transit, construction, underground pipelines, urban lifelines, and water conservancy. Several renowned experts from both domestic and international backgrounds shared their latest research findings and experiences.



Professors Xie Xiongyao from the School of Civil Engineering, Tongji University, Feng Xuan from the College of Earth Exploration Science and Technology, Jilin University, Liu Hai from the School of Civil Engineering, Guangzhou University, and Shu Jiangpeng from the Department of Civil Engineering, Zhejiang University, among others, provided in-depth analyses of the applications and prospects of intelligent nondestructive testing technologies in infrastructure construction from perspectives including tunnel and underground engineering, ground-penetrating radar detection technology, and road subsidence hazard nondestructive testing.




In-depth Communication and Cooperation

SINOROCK Technology showcased its new underwater robot products, pipeline series products, and non-contact optical measurement products at the seminar. The exhibits attracted many attendees, who praised SINOROCK for its effective integration of cutting-edge research and product development.





Liu Shaoping, Product Manager and Senior Engineer of SINOROCK Technology’s Technical Department, was invited to deliver a keynote report titled "Application of Machine Vision in Bridge Engineering." The report detailed key technological breakthroughs, research results, and the transformation of technological achievements from the “National Key R&D Program—Large Facility Deflection Non-contact Measurement Instrument” project led by SINOROCK. The presentation highlighted the application of machine vision in bridge deformation measurement, new technology development directions, and the company's achievements in integrating industry and education. The report received high praise from experts and scholars, who fully recognized Zhongyan Technology's technical research strength and product transformation capabilities.
